A West Virginia tradition! These pepperoni balls are made the old way with freshly made dough (peasant) stuffed with natural pepperoni and slices of mozzarella cheese. The pepperoni balls are left to rise and then coated with a general portion of avocado oil before baking. Our pepperoni balls are, of course, baked and not fried. We use avocado oil to avoid the trans-fat conversion that happens with olive oil at higher temperatures.
